My basement is flooded, my washing machine is leaking, and my refrigerator is about to blow up.
Tuition is due, my cat has the flu, and it all makes me want to throw up.
My husband’s foot is broken, deadlines are looming, and quarterly taxes are due.
How can I be happy with all this kind of crappy and when I’m feeling so blue?
Then I remember that it is September with a new season in sight.
This crap – it’s just temporary. It’s the happiness that’s true. My family is around me, possibilities surround me and so much is going right.
I am happy to be me – even with tragedy – and the complications of life!
